Summer is here and June is almost gone. Time goes so fast. I decided just to get a few pictures up so everyone knows we are all still here. So here are a few snapshots. The first is MacKenzie, Jack and Lukas being silly little guys, and Sam caught off guard.

Little New York Mills

Kacie took part in our communities local pageant. Although she did not win it was a great experience for her! She looked beautiful!! The day after the pageant she got to ride on a float in the New York Mills parade.

The 3 boys are in wrestling. They are all learning a lot about the sport and sportsmanship. The sportsmanship is what is the most important since Sam and Lukas do NOT like to loose, but both of them are learning that the most important thing is to go out there, try their best and most of all have fun!

Rosie is a new addition to our family as of a few weeks ago. She is an English Pointer who should help Chad out in the hunting department. Rosie was a worker on a hunting preserve by Bejou. Her owner was getting to many dogs so since Rosie is a little older and kind of skidish of new people she got to move in with us :)

Deer Hunting season has come and gone. There was minimal blood shed generated from the Pikula's. I beleive the end count was 6 deer. Venison will be the meat of choice at our home for quit some time. Yippie. I should not complain because I do not notice it is venison unless it is made into plain old burgers.

WE HAVE A HOME!

As most of you know we lost our home to a fire in July, but as of October we do have somewhere to call our own again. We ended up rebuilding if you would like to call it we are other place burnt. We went with a modular from Anderson Homes in Sebeka. So here are some pics of the house being moved to our place and a few of the inside now that we are somewhat settled.

Wow - what am I doing not really sure, but a few of my college buds have been posting their kiddies pic's online and I thought it was a great idea instead of loading up everyones emails. So here I am - giving it a go.

Halloween was fun did the pumpkins and all that jazz.

There was some mess but nothing plastic on the floor could not handle. I guess I ended up doing most of the gutting for the 3 younger ones!!!
